He stayed in his home state to attend medical school at the University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine.

After earning his medical degree, Dr. Hussain completed an internship and residency in orthopaedic surgery at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center in Ohio. He received additional training with a specialized fellowship in hands and upper extremities at the world-renowned Philadelphia Hand to Shoulder Center. During this time, he provided orthopaedic hand care to the 2018 Super Bowl champions, the Philadelphia Eagles.

At Greater Washington Orthopaedic Group, Dr. Hussain frequently treats patients with nerve and tendon repairs, arthroscopic surgery, and fracture care. He treats injuries as well as long-term conditions affecting the joints, such as arthritis.

When he isn’t at one of the three Greater Washington Orthopaedic Group offices performing surgeries or counseling his patients about their care, Dr. Hussain loves to spend his free time with his wife and daughter.
