Korboi N. Evans, MD, MS, FAAOS, is an industrious and caring board-certified orthopaedic surgeon and joint replacement specialist. Dr. Evans received his undergraduate degree from the University of Akron in Ohio and completed his master’s degree and his medical degree at the Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine in 2005. He completed his medical residency in 2011 at the Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Washington and in 2017, he received a fellowship from the Rubin Institute for Advanced Orthopaedics in Maryland, where he underwent advanced training in joint replacement surgery.

Dr. Evans has significant experience as an orthopaedic surgeon in both civilian and military settings. He deployed to Afghanistan where he served as commander of a forward surgical team and a combat support hospital.

At the Walter Reed Army Medical Center, Dr. Evans was closely involved in caring for wounded warriors returning from Afghanistan and Iraq — a unique experience that enhanced his medical practice and solidified his commitment to providing compassionate and comprehensive orthopaedic care. He is a proud advocate for veterans and military families.

Recognized for his hard work and contributions to the medical field, Dr. Evans has won several honors and awards. He has served as an assistant professor of surgery at the Uniformed Services University and published a number of valuable scientific articles related to the management of musculoskeletal conditions and the medical care of those injured in combat.

Dr. Evans is a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgeons, the American Academy of Hip and Knee Surgeons, and the Society of Military Orthopaedic Surgeons.
